National Hospitality Renovation Inside Sales Associate - Pomona, CA

Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Hospitality Inside Sales position in our Pomona, CA location. The candidate will work on the National Accounts Sales Team servicing the needs of our Hospitality Renovations National Account customer base. If you have a love of providing great customer service coupled with an interest in contributing directly to the bottom line of a multi-billion dollar organization, this is the position for you!

Responsibilities

As a National Hospitality Renovation Inside Sales Associate, you will:

  • From an office environment, work hand-in-hand with National Strategic Account Managers and Outside Sales associates by performing the inside sales/project management functions that ensure our customer's needs are being met.

  • Participate in help planning the entire project life cycle; including identifying significant path items, extended lead times, resource allocation, and development of the project schedule.

  • Support the Renovations team by ensuring the delivery of personalized customer service through timely quotation

management and accurate order processing in conjunction with administrative staff in our National Sales Center.

  • Collaborate with project personnel to provide technical guidance and to resolve problems

  • Updating customer contracts, coordinate deliveries with the National Sales Center, and

answer sales calls for general

information as well as creative value added services.

  • Assist in the daily functions of the branch, including:

  • Performing Outbound and Inbound Sales

  • Assisting in daily operational duties of the branch

  • Be accountable for win/loss job tracking and collaborate with other team members on overall success of the business

Qualifications

A college degree is preferred for this position, but comparable industry knowledge in Hospitality Renovation sales/project management and experience in selling plumbing,

appliances, lighting, HVAC, hardware and other building materials would also be considered.

A successful associate will be goal oriented, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines, build

relationships and enjoy a team

atmosphere, in addition to having the following:

  • Pleasant personality for phone sales

  • Ambition to succeed

  • General computer skills

  • Ability to understand construction documents, and technical documents is a plus

  • Self Motivator

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Enthusiasm, courtesy and articulation

  • Ability to learn quickly

  • Service minded, aggressive and congenial

  • 3+ years of interiors product knowledge in Plumbing, lighting, appliance and hardware, doors, HVAC experience is required
