TE Connectivity IT Data Analyst in Plymouth, Minnesota

This position is located at Creganna Medical, a part of TE Connectivity, facility located in Plymouth, Minnesota.

The IT Operations Analyst will be responsible for a variety of computing support in a 24-7 manufacturing environment. The person in this role will perform a wide variety of desktop support, system administration, and user training. In addition to technical tasks, the candidate will work with management to better serve the business using available IT tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for all PC users through a mix of phone, e-mail, and deskside service.

  • Setup, install, deploy, and troubleshoot desktop computer equipment.

  • Perform system administration for physical and virtual server infrastructure.

  • Perform basic network troubleshooting for LAN, WAN, and VPN connections.

  • Help support manufacturing and production systems.

  • Support ERP system and expand its use in the organization.

  • Manage purchases and vendor relationships.

  • Train users on new products and features in the IT environment.

  • Work with Global IT Staff as needed for a variety of short term and long term projects.

  • Stay current on IT trends and recommend improvements to better support the business.

Education/Skills/Experience:

  • Computer related degree, advanced technical certification or 2-4 years of IT work experience.

  • Experience with all current versions of Microsoft Windows Client and Server OS.

  • Experience with Hyper-V, VMWare, or other virtualization technology.

  • Experience working with or supporting an ERP platform.

Special Requirements:

  • Will be required to work flexible start and finish times.

  • May be required to travel periodically.
