Job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Process Escrow deposits and Escrow Releases

  • Auditing closed transactions to make sure all information is entered according to company policy, Real Estate Commission regulations, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, making corrections to transactions and reports as needed and obtaining supporting documentation.

  • Processing agent commissions; verify incoming checks, match amounts, update any accounts receivables.

  • Process garnishments and other agent related compensation programs.

  • Ensure that all questions and problems with transactions are appropriately answered.

  • Respond to field inquiries related to commissions; investigate and resolve outstanding issues.

  • Generate reports for transactions on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, maintain relocation & exception spreadsheets, print and distribute reports as needed.

  • Responsible for filing and accurate record retention, maintenance of excel spreadsheets

  • Other duties as assigned​

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 or 4 yr College degree (or degree in process) preferred; but not necessary

  • At a minimum bookkeeping or related industry experience (ie: Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable or entry level staff accounting)

  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; specifically Excel & Word

  • Computer & analytical skills

  • Ability to work with numbers (adding machine); computations (or calculations) & multiple computer systems

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Strong attention to detail

Additional/Preferred:

  • Real Estate or related Industry Experience

  • Clerical or Staff Accounting Experience
