POSITION SUMMARY

*Please note: The successful candidate will reside in western PA. There is potential for WAH, but only from a western PA residence.

This Field Sales Representative is a key position in helping the Individual Medicare team generate new, profitable membership, establishing brand presence and product awareness in the western portion of Pennsylvania. The primary sales focus is representing the Medicare Advantage product portfolio, which includes both Coventry Advantra and Aetna Medicare Advantage offerings.

Fundamental Components:

Responsible for in-home presentations and group presentations to the Medicare population, about the Medicare Advantage Product. Builds a book of business from in-home presentations, group presentations, educational based events and senior community event representation. Responsible for meeting sales goals, quotas, and management objectives based upon corporate sales and marketing goals. Implements strategies to increase enrollment. Responsible for assisting in the application process with the Medicare beneficiaries. Works at health fairs throughout the year to increase enrollment opportunities. Attends area professionally related seminars and organizational meetings related to the Medicare population. Majority of time is spent external to place of business, on outside sales related to (retaining and/or renewing) Medicare beneficiary membership.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Appropriate state licensure to sell insurance required. Previous (5 years minimum) sales experience Proven track record of career progression and sales success Excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience in health care preferred, but not required. Demonstrated technology literacy.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
