Job Summary

The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician. The IT Help Desk Technician is responsible for providing technical assistance to users; identify, troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.

Job Requirements

Setup, configure, image and maintain computer systems. Maintain support records and administration of Zendesk ticket tracking system.

Excellent communication skills. Knowledge of University policies and procedures. Knowledge and experience in MS Windows platforms and applications. Must meet established deadlines.

Child Protection Clearances

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.

Hourly Pay Rate $7.25-$10.00
