Pacifica Hotels is looking for a hardworking and inspired Room Attendant. We are currently seeking a Room Attendant for our property The Tides in Pismo Beach.

Perched on the bluffs of Pismo Beach, experience the newly refreshed Tides Oceanview Inn & Cottages. Guests can select from23 guest rooms and 3 cottages, which all offer complimentary parking, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs with cable, and upscale bath amenities. Select from our standard hotel rooms with 1 King bed or 2 Queen beds - many with ocean views - or choose our cottage-style accommodations, which offer 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, and a cozy living area. In addition to our various Pismo Beach hotel amenities, enjoy a light and airy bedroom décor that complements The Tide’s seaside surroundings and breathtaking views of the Pacific Coastline.

Core functions of the position, but are not limited to the following;

  • Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests

  • Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members

  • Clean guest rooms to Pacifica Hotel Company standards including but not limited to: making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms completely, wiping down walls, etc

  • Clean rooms within the minutes-per-room guideline established by the Executive Housekeeper and General Manager

  • Follow Pacifica Hotel Company policy for room amenities

  • Turn in all items left in guestroom to manager immediately

  • Maintain complete security of master room key. Return the key at the end of shift. Never leave the property with key

  • Report any maintenance items that need immediate attention

  • Assist with laundry as needed

  • Report any missing/found articles or damage to the Executive Housekeeper

  • Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel

Requirements Education

  • A High School Diploma

Work experience:

  • 1 – 3 years’ experience as Room Attendant Personal skills

  • Highly organized and efficient

  • Pro-active and results driven

  • Ability to adapt and demonstrate flexibility

  • Dependable and team oriented
