Oxford Life Insurance Company is seeking a Program Manager of Medicare Supplement to help effectively develop business objectives, strategies and plans, provide market research and analysis of insurance industry data, and act as the specialist to provide ideas and tactics for the assigned programs.

This position calls for a confident, ambitious sales and customer service oriented person who is also very analytical and thoughtful with attention to multiple details. This role requires the ability to prioritize and multi-task. This position will work with all levels of management and all functional areas to communicate programs, strategies, industry trends, training, operational opportunities, and insight to increase product sales and service

The Program Manager will:

  • Develop, implement, maintain and monitor marketing plans, policies and strategies for assigned programs that result in constant improvement in products and services.

  • Participate and lead in the product development process.

  • Review the profitability of assigned programs and prepare comprehensive proposals to make additions, deletions or adjustments to the program.

  • Create and communicate presentations of marketing plans with anticipated effective results, as well as plan for follow-up to execution and what measurement analysis will be utilized.

  • Provide insight into key causes of over/under performance through analytical methods.

  • Offer strategic insight, implement and deploy all electronic customer correspondence.

  • Create value-added analytical reports to be used in advertising offers for new customer acquisition.

  • Provide comparisons of key metrics to effectively illustrate the market environment and our strategic position.

  • Analyze, interpret and utilize database information to produce periodic production reports.

  • Establish and maintain close working relationships with other functional departments, and ensure an understanding of policies and procedures

Successful candidates will be thoroughly experienced & knowledgeable of Medicare Supplement insurance products


  • Prefer Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Services, Human Resources, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related areas

  • 4+ years of insurance industry experience.

  • 2+ years of analytics experience.

  • Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), organizational and time management skills.

  • Must be detail oriented.

  • MUST have strong proficiency of Microsoft Excel using advanced functions of V-lookup.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills using mathematical and basic statistical knowledge.

  • Ability to research insurance markets and present competitive information.

  • Capable of performing analytical processes, interpreting results and developing appropriate recommendations.
