JPMorgan Chase Production Quality Specialist I and II (1st and 2nd shift) - Mortgage Banking - Phoenix AZ in Phoenix, Arizona

Position Summary

As a Quality Specialist, you will need to be familiar with all reviews performed within Production Quality and develop the organizational skills to effectively handle the diversity of requests received in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for performing QC testing including but not limited to PreOp, PreDoc, Pre-Disbursement, Post Fund, Specialty or Health check reviews, with demonstrated ability to certify in the high risk testing elements (flood, mortgage insurance, etc). Duties include but are not limited to, timely and proficient completion of all assigned tasks, participation in special projects, supporting process improvement initiatives, having the ability to identify risks and assist in implementing controls around those risks.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Perform all assigned reviews daily meeting required proficiency and productivity standards consistently

Input all review results in the QR Database and communicate results back to the business

Attend all training sessions to ensure full understanding of testing criteria

Comply with all company policy/procedure

Escalate any noted red flags and/or potential risk to management

Knowledge and Experience

2+ years audit, quality or mortgage banking experience required

Plus 2 years in processing, closing or underwriting experience

Solid computer knowledge (Microsoft Applications: Outlook, Word and Excel) preferred

Demonstrated organization and time management skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Detail orientated, with ability to learn complex procedures

Strong analytical and problem solving abilities

Adapts easily to changes, including new methods, procedures and systems

Team player
