Is responsible for the layout, design and production of high-quality graphic design materials with a focus on custom property marketing collateral for office, industrial, retail and multifamily assets, among others. Requires advanced proficiency of Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign as well as working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint and SharePoint.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Produces graphic design artwork to support marketing effort using technology and computer software packages for either print or web.
Generates interactive materials, brochures, floor plans, advertising, postcards, proposals, presentations and any other creative collateral material that adheres to corporate brand standards whether for print or digital.
Confers with marketing director and specialists as well as internal clients to discuss and determine a creative direction for collateral pieces based on the requirements given for the task.
Working with HTML or any language that can be utilized in the alteration, editing and creation of online resources.
Ability to present new ideas clearly as well as provide technical guidance and/or training to internal members of the team including Marketing and Client Services departments.
May provide estimates on all print and web marketing material.
Works with vendors to estimate marketing projects and oversee production.
May investigate, compare and recommend local suppliers of marketing production services, including typography, paper and printing.
Works on additional special marketing projects.
Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design is strongly preferred with a minimum of 2 to 5 years of related experience and/or training. Previous experience with commercial real estate design a plus.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to internal team. Ability to effectively present information.
Requires ability to do cost estimates.
Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret documents. Ability to apply critical thinking and problem solving skill to different situations.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Must have a solid grasp of fundamental concepts of print and graphic design principles.
Working knowledge of web design in editing and the creation of online resources.
Basic project management, editing and writing skills required.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with understanding of internal marketing procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for meeting set deadlines and capable of managing own time efficiently. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to coworkers and supervisor.
