SUMMARY: The Project Implementation Specialist functions in the SBS product or service process to implement projects, such as system enhancements, new products or features, or service management initiatives into the SBS Service Centers. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assigns projects among the group and manages workloads. * Assists the Implementation Specialists in planning and issue resolution, prior to escalation to Management. * Maintains the master Project Implementation plan. * Assists Director, with other tasks and may assume responsibility in Director's absence, as needed; aids with department budget process, acts as mentor for department, etc. * Assigns work and assists in planning and issue resolution for Project Implementation Specialists. Provides input on performance reviews. * Creates Service Center Implementation Plans for each phase of the project rollout, which documents tasks identified for the project. Ensures timely completion of those tasks, and when not, affects the plan accordingly. * Monitors project progress with the Centers and resolves any problems/issues that arise during the Field test and Beta test, ultimately, providing the go ahead to rollout to other service centers. This includes the creation and maintenance of the Implementation Issue Log. Additionally, responsible for the creation of the Field test, Beta tests and General Release reports. These reports detail the results from each phase of the rollout. * Acts as a subject matter expert providing knowledge on any SBS process or project during the Design, Programming and QA process for assigned projects. Acts as the representative in the field interests. * Identifies and implements tasks required to rollout the project. Communicates all tasks to the project team members. * Communicates with the Service Centers that will Field Test and Beta test the project regarding preparation, installation, monitoring and resolution of problems/issues during Rollout. * Provides input and reviews training materials and documentation materials. * Organizes and ensures necessary resources to carry out the tasks needed. * Reports to their management the status of any issues that arose during Field testing, Beta testing and Rollout. * Compiles the data necessary to have a Post Implementation wrap-up meeting and then organizes that meeting. Prepares, distributes and compiles results of the Survey Center Survey, report survey results to the project team. * Continues to update knowledge of new and enhanced SBS products and services. * Completes all other PLC deliverables as detailed in the PLC document. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: * BA/BS, Business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. LISVCTD
