POSITION SUMMARY

Builds strategic partnerships with assigned consultants, producers and customers to achieve profitable growth and cross-sell

objectives for Middle Market Commercial Group (500-3000) Segment covering the NE/KS/W MO geographies.

Fundamental Components:

  • Achieves sales and profitability targets.

    Manages and builds strategic partnerships with assigned producers to create focused sales strategies.

    Maximizes sales by articulating how Aetnas capabilities can contribute to constituents long-term strategies.

    Develops, executes and communicates a comprehensive strategy that is aligned with prospects objectives, financial

position and employee benefits strategy while providing profitable revenue and growth to Aetna and supporting

segment business objectives.

Delivers organized polished presentations of solutions with benefits tied to constituents needs.

Partners with account management to create a renewal strategy that identifies profitable growth and cross-sell opportunities within existing customers.

Takes leadership role in setting strategy and collaborating with underwriting to prepare competitive quotes for targeted prospects.

Creates open enrollment strategy with producer and plan sponsor to maximize enrollment. (*)

Monitors industry information and competitive environment of the marketplace to position Aetnas strength accordingly.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

10+ years of sales experience in the managed care field.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Insurance/Life and Health Insurance License is desired
