JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Customer Service Admin. Support position responds to the needs of GFS customers by performing numerous duties pertaining to answering calls and problem solving with regards to installations, startups, service calls, maintenance and repair of items sold with service maintenance contracts or covered under warranty by performing the following job duties: Professionally handle incoming requests from customers and resolve issues promptly and thoroughly. Thoroughly and efficiently gather customer information, assess and fulfill customer needs, educate the customer where applicable to prevent the need for future contacts and document interactions through contact tracking. Provide quality service and support including sending out prints, processing orders, and system troubleshooting of customer issues. Review and document customer's requests for service. Communicate with customers to help them understand how to use the product properly. Maintain communication with various departments including Design, Engineering, Electrical, Quality, Parts, Purchasing, and Plant Manager to make sure design and manufacturing problems do not reoccur. Create/write quality-warranty orders and good authorizations for defective parts, missing parts, and concessions. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1-3 years' experience within a technical customer service / help desk setting and with excellent troubleshooting experience including gathering detailed information to solve technical issues; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
