G&K Services District Sales Manager in Orlando, Florida

JOB SUMMARY: Our DSM will manage the sales of our company-s products and services within a defined geographic area/location. You will ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through proactive planning, deployment and management of sales personnel. You will also identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve both short and long-term sales and earnings.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible and accountable to consistently achieve 100% of the sales team-s quarterly and annual sales plans.

  • Conducts regular one-on-one meetings with individual sales representatives.

  • Engages the business across all departments to support sellers and team selling.

  • Fosters an environment that celebrates sales success and culture of closing.

  • Delivers on sales performance expectations and engages sellers on a daily basis.

  • Creates and maintains a culture that encourages employee engagement.

  • Attracts, hires and develops local sales team.

  • Onboard newly hired sellers effectively.

  • Provides regular training to sales team.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales or Marketing or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of sales and sales leadership experience with focus on new account acquisition; large or major account selling experience a plus.

  • Experience leading teams and demonstrated success recruiting, developing and retaining sales talent is preferred.

  • History of exceeding 100% of individual and team sales goals, as applicable.

  • Proven effectiveness in a fast-paced organization.

  • Experienced in creatively solving problems and eliminating barriers to the sales process.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Persuasive communication, presentation and sales skills. Excellent problem solving, analytical and reasoning skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.

Effectively lead and facilitate business meetings.

Good working knowledge of technology sales tools (e.g., salesforce.com).

Action-oriented and motivated to move expeditiously and meet aggressive sales goals through set example in leading others.

Ability to build and develop a team; proven ability to coach and develop sales representatives.

Provides quarterly results assessments of sales staff-s productivity. Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.

Educates sales team in the areas of new account (prospecting) sales and growth, sales of emerging products and multi-product sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, LICENSES etc.:

  • Ability to successfully complete the G&K Smart Start Training Program (required).

Must possess valid driver-s license, and have the ability to obtain/maintain a vehicle through G&K-s automobile reimbursement program.

Must provide annual proof of automobile insurance that complies with requirements included in G&K-s automobile reimbursement program.
