Operating Hours:Monday thru Friday 8:30 am- 6:00 pmSaturday: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm QUALIFICATIONS: Education, skills and experience: Holds current State ofFloridalicense to practice as a registered pharmacy technician.Must be neat and clean.Able to remain functional in situations of stress.Able to remain flexible with scheduling for all operational hours.Must have clear communication skills. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: Receive incoming prescription orders, verify completeness and input prescription orders onto patients profile accurately and completely, under the supervision of a pharmacist and informing pharmacist of all s inclusive of: duplicate therapy, allergy, severe interactions and minimum/maximum dose.Receive new prescription(s) and refill prescription(s) from patients and obtain all pertinent information needed: name, address, plan umber, generic availability and communicates when patient can pick up prescription order.Carries out rules and regulations pertaining to administrative and professional written policies and procedures of pharmacy services.Typing prescription labels completely and accurately under the supervision of a pharmacist.Fill prescription orders accurately and completely including: labeling, auxiliary labeling and accompanying stock bottles remaining, all under the supervision of a pharmacist.Prepackaging medication completely and accurately including: labeling, auxiliary labeling and accompanying stock bottles remaining, all under the supervision of a pharmacist.Fill unit dose orders completely and accurately including: labeling and accompanying stock bottle remaining, all under the supervision of a pharmacist.Refill Drug-O-Matic counting machines accurately, documenting date, lot number, expiration date and initials, under the supervision of a pharmacist.Place reorder numbers of merchandise on order books as inventories become low.Check in, process and place in stock or return bins, accurately, all merchandise received and pharmacist of all backordered, discontinued or non stock items, all under the supervision of a pharmacist.assist in keeping the pharmacy area clean and organized.Takes an active involvement in Performance Improvement.Identifies, intervenes, documents, and reports risk management issues.Adheres to company safety and hazardous materials policies.
