Booz Allen Hamilton Project Construction Scheduler, Mid in Okinawa, Japan
Provide technical construction scheduling support, including advising and making recommendations and conducting analysis related to DPRI involvement in current and future Marine Corps structures associated with FRF and OKICON initiatives. Assist with developing and maintaining a program schedule for multiple complex land development projects using Microsoft Project or Primavera. Collect project schedule information from various sources to maintain an accurate program schedule, provide detailed analysis of the project schedule to assess real or estimated impacts to timeline, and assist with the preparation of reports and presentations on the program schedule. Assist program managers with leveraging the program schedule to coordinate program activities. Coordinate with OKICON program teams and create, modify, and present models using AutoCAD Civil 3D Navisworks and Primavera P6.
-Experience in working with a diverse and often conflicting group of stakeholders on politically sensitive and schedule-constrained construction projects
-Experience with the creation, revision, and presentation of planning, design, and construction schedules for development programs for several hundred new facilities
-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Primavera P6 scheduling software
-Experience with claim analysis for construction project schedules required
-Knowledge of the development of executive-level correspondence and the management of programs involving executive-level participants
-Knowledge of the overall mission, organization, functions, capabilities, administration, and operations of the Marine Corps in general and the Okinawa Consolidation program
-Knowledge of horizontal and vertical construction, architecture, land development, utility systems, space allocation, functional layout, design and development processes, construction means and methods, or US and Japanese construction practices
-Knowledge of the construction program assessment techniques, including quantitative and qualitative methods and techniques related to resource allocation, risk management, performance metrics, and project execution
-Knowledge of Navisworks for the development, manipulation, and presentation of scheduling data from Primavera for complex land development projects
-Secret clearance required
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent customer service skills due to daily interaction with various levels of rank, authority, and positions, both military and civilian
-BA or BS degree
