What you’ll do?

  • Under the guidance of our experienced engineers, you will gain first-hand knowledge of the design process for ammonia refrigeration systems commonly found in food distribution centers, cold storage, and food processing facilities.

  • Learn how to develop flow diagrams and plans and specifications for refrigeration systems.

  • Perform heat load calculations to accurately determine facility refrigeration requirements.

  • Conduct heat transfer and thermodynamic analysis to size and select refrigeration equipment, controls and associated components.

What we are looking for?

  • Students who are actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.

  • Strong desire to understand how systems are designed and built (individuals who enjoy building cars, computers, or related mechanical systems are encouraged to apply).

  • Demonstrated skills, experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel) and PDF editing software.

  • High energy level to handle dynamic, evolving, and fast paced work environment.

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.

  • Detail oriented, with excellent organization and follow-up skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, able to deal diplomatically and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

  • Initiative; self-motivated (driven), self-starter.

  • Professional demeanor and positive, caring attitude.
