· Position is a SubCom Director level role that will assist in the management of the entire Ocean Operations contract with a private customer. The role requires a highly motivated individual who possesses excellent strategic planning capability, superior interpersonal skills, and comfort with ambiguity, and adaptability in order to manage complex marine projects. This individual must have experience in managing end user expectations and delivering excellent customer service.

· This position reports directly to the MD of Ocean Operations and will oversee a specific customer based project that is part of the Ocean Operations contract.

· Expected results are successful project implementation, high level of energy and persistence, solid leadership and dedication to the development of our employee talent while delivering extraordinary customer experiences on a consistent basis.

The essential functions of this position include:

  • Ability to deliver frequent customer presentations

The knowledge, skills and abilities required for performing this job include:

  • Experience in project planning of undersea cable operations

  • Ability to build and lead diverse teams

  • An engaging personality that earns customer confidence and respect

  • Experience in developing large project budgets and executing within established budgets

  • A track record of creating vision and successfully implementing the vision

  • Experience in providing customer orientated leadership, along with proven negotiation and influence skills

The minimum qualifications to perform the job include:

  • BA or BS degree

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills

  • A minimum of five years in the undersea cable business

  • Strong teambuilding skills

  • Organizational savvy with a commitment to delivering the highest level of service to our customer base
