NJ Employer Transition Leader - Account Transitions in Newark, New Jersey

This person will work with executives, mid-level managers, and project teams to manage and actively participate in the development of project charters, and project schedules and budgets that support transformation/transition projects. This individual will then provide on-going management and support for these projects by leading and facilitating, planning sessions and control meetings, updating schedules, providing written analysis, and communicating with key decision-makers. Responsibilities include:Coordinate pre-planning meetings and facilitate the initial discussion of project scope and objectivesFacilitate development of project charters, which concisely define project scope, objectives, key stakeholders, and other key areas necessary for project successEstablish and manage project work breakdown structures, which include deliverable organization and activity identificationManage, develop and validate network diagrams with team, which capture the precedence relationships among activities, activity responsibility assignments and activity duration estimatesManage planning documents, such as the charter, standard corporate PMO templates, and project specific activity network diagrams, to create project plans using project management software, such as Microsoft ProjectConduct analysis of resulting project schedules with project teams, and facilitate compression sessions in order to meet targets and deadlinesFacilitate steering committee and project control meetings utilizing project schedule and provide current status to project teamIdentify and resolve project issues related to scope and time constraints and reaffirm team commitments for remaining workGenerate project reports to assist the team in the effective management of projects.Mange the creation/modification of company policies and procedures related to the Project Management Office (PMO)Lead and educate project teams on the processes and methodologies used by the PMO.Participate in development of schedules in response to RFPs.Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action EmployerWomen/Minorities/Persons with Disabilities/US Veterans
