The Strategic Data Center Program is one of the largest multi-year efforts in the Global Technology Portfolio. This global program will replace data centers in all regions to improve our resiliency and reduce cost. The LOB Application Migration workstream is one of 2 major workstreams supporting this program and is accountable for working with the LOBs and GTI to transition our applications from the legacy DCs to the new DCs.

This role is for a senior leader, ideally an Executive Director, with skill coordinating a matrix team of individuals from within GTI as well as across the LOBs. The role is directly accountable to the LOB Tech Working Group, which brings together tech experts from the LOBs with GTI specialists to discuss design and migration approaches. Additionally, this role will coordinate the efforts of several analysts on-boarded to help with analytics and the development of a migration tool.

Additional responsibilities of this role include weekly reporting into the overall program governance and assisting/providing backup for the Managing Director with overall responsibility for this workstream.

  • 10 years or more experience with distributed technology infrastructure, including servers, storage, and databases.

  • 5 years or more experience directing senior technical individuals.

  • Experience working with AD and infrastructure teams in LOBs as well as GTI teams required.

  • Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills.

  • Additional skills with DC design/build, technology refreshes, mainframe/large midrange, and broader technology skills would be a plus.
