The Role

This is an exciting opportunity

to be part of a newly created, internal agency that reports to Marketing. As a leader on this team, the Sr. Manager of

CX Content will lead the strategy and execution of content programs across

internal and external digital channels. This includes websites, dynamic landing pages, social media platforms,

content syndication programs, and nurture programs. This individual will also lead

the conceptualization of new digital experiences, formats, and channels through

which to tell the Oracle story.

The Senior Manager of CX Content will

understand the critical role that content plays within the company – and be

able to communicate this to stakeholders across the business. He/she will work

closely with designers, analytics experts, digital writers and campaign and

product strategists to ensure that projects are executed efficiently and

deliver the desired results. The Senior Manager will also help define a global

strategy for our corporate website, using content analysis and optimization to

balance business goals with user needs.

Desired Qualifications

  • 6 years in a content role

(marketing, editorial, or communications)

  • Experience managing employees

  • Strong writing, editing, and

communication skills

  • Proactive, problem-solving skills

  • Ability to distinguish the good content from

the noise

  • Knowledge of best practices for

content audits and editorial calendars

  • Basic understanding of content


  • Comfortable leveraging content management systems to build,

create, and edit content

  • Experience working with

external agencies to guide content creation

Travel Component: Minimal. Approx. 10% travel within

the United States and Canada may be required to successfully fill this


Position Location: Onsite at Oracle office in New York, NY (Manhattan)

Role is based in North America andrequires close coordination with virtual team.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Responsible for the overall development of technical and editorial content and message portrayed across Oracle's digital channels in execution of the company's digital strategy

Manages the development of content and makes technical content decisions for assigned programs. Leads online production teams and is accountable for the financial results of assigned programs. Oversees the website's overall content, application and development. Maintains Oracle's vision by serving as interdisciplinary liaison between digital programs and other functions, such as IT, sales and product development. Organizes project and task workloads. Manage subordinates to meet business targets and best practice solutions: this will include coaching and development of team members. Act as a liaison with management to ensure that production of online and digital content is in support of business strategy. Manage the activities of the staff according to overall functional strategy budgets. Implement organizational changes in line with changing business & market needs

Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. Technical and strategic understanding of Technology, Applications, and Industry solutions being marketed.
