Persistent Systems LLC Marketing Manager in New York, New York

Responsibilities
Persistent Systems is looking for a Marketing Manager who will drive day to day marketing tasks and coordinate marketing projects and activities, both internally and with external agencies. You will be responsible for producing marketing communications, creating and maintaining promotional materials, planning meetings and trade shows, developing tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities, and assisting in analysis of sales data to determine trends and produce forecasts. The ideal Marketing Manager will be highly creative, possess excellent design skills, and thrive while independently driving marketing content from conception through completion.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
* Creating, delivering, editing, and optimizing marketing materials; driving the creative process
* Creating and managing a network of outsourced marketing capabilities through select vendors to create a full marketing capability (digital media, graphics, web site management, public relations, collateral items, video production, social media outreach, etc.)
* Creating and delivering press releases, media relations content, case studies, white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, and speaking proposals
* Planning meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists and oversee the execution of trade shows and exhibits
* Coordinating between all relevant departments for the planning of product photoshoots, video shoots, and interviews for marketing collateral
* Implementing marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts and market data; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; and updating calendars
* Maintaining appropriate promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with vendors; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt and managing distribution
* Supporting sales staff by providing, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, and new product information
* Monitoring budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or a related degree or equivalent experience
* 3+ years of experience in marketing for a business-to-business (B2B) technology company
* 5+ years of experience developing marketing content and related collateral
* Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
* Experience supporting sales strategies
* Proficiency in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and developing strategies for increasing web traffic
* Experience with Google Analytics or similar analytics programs
* Must be available to travel at least 50% of the time
* Must have a United States security clearance or have the ability to obtain a United States security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Master’s degree in Business or a related field of study
* Experience in marketing to commercial, Department of Defense (DoD), and other government customers
