The Economic Research Team assesses the macro economy, financial markets, and financial institutions with in-depth analyses and insights. This team supports management and other related divisions to facilitate growth and sound risk management, and helps to further enhance the MUFG brand.
Produce (create and design) reports on U.S. financial industry.
Research includes personal insights utilizing the methodologies of political science, diplomatic study, business management, etc. as well as periodicals, internet, and direct contact with professionals.
Write precise and concise Japanese reports summarizing massive English information.
Respond to specific inquiries from other MUFG offices and headquarters.
Control the expense account check books and check the expense memos.
Perform related duties and participate in special projects at an instruction of Chief Rep.
5 years’ experience (Banking Officer level) in analysis and understanding about congress, government, market, financial system and foreign policy.
Candidate must possess critical thinking/thorough analysis skills.
Proficient in Excel, Word.
Full proficiency in English and Japanese (Written and Verbal).
