Global Compliance currently has an opportunity for a Compliance Surveillance Program Vice President who will support the implementation and enhancement to the Global Surveillance Operating Model. The Surveillance Operating Model includes global standards for executing, documenting, tracking and reporting on surveillance activities.

In addition, this role will be responsible for supporting the Surveillance controls agenda including developing, tracking, coordinating and documenting RCSA, issues & action plans, user access controls, record retention and business resiliency plans, governance of the Quality Assurance program, procedure affirmations & workflow, and maintenance of the global procedures inventory.

The candidate will work closely across a variety of surveillance and other compliance management teams to assist in project management and delivery as needed, with direct responsibility for monitoring and reporting on program execution, risks and results. The candidate should have a demonstrated ability to develop strong and influential relationships across all levels of an organization, with experience in managing teams and multiple projects in a changing and intense regulatory environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Management and oversight of extensive Compliance / Regulatory related projects

  • Developing strong and influential relationships across senior levels of the organization and managing/multiple projects in a changing environment

  • Driving delivery of project initiatives to meet desired business results and commitments

  • Contributing PMO expertise to implementing projects/initiatives

  • Supporting the execution of business initiatives from concept to delivery, including participation in training sessions, drafting business requirement documents (BRDs), drafting procedures and workflow redesigns and creation & tracking of implementation schedules

Qualifications:

  • Strong Compliance and Project Management (PMO) experience

  • 10 + years Financial Industry experience

  • Significant exposure to compliance / regulatory environment, including Surveillance discipline

  • BA/BS degree required, MBA preferred

  • Independent and self-motivated

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and to work independently; agility in a fast-paced environment

  • Track record of building relationships across global organizations and operating through influence

  • Business acumen, relationship management, organizational management skills

  • Strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills
