The Compliance function has a robust set of priorities in place focused on best practice and employee development to ensure goals are delivered.

The J.P. Morgan Corporate & Investment Bank Compliance Department is seeking an Vice President with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills to join the Policies and Procedures team. The candidate will work closely with line of business Compliance advisory personnel and core compliance areas on drafting, maintaining and revising policies, procedures, manuals, Written Supervisory Procedures and Compliance bulletins. The Policies and Procedures team provides advice for businesses across the Corporate & Investment Bank, and each of their business-aligned Compliance teams, including for the Commodities, Equities and Fixed Income lines of business.

The Candidate Will:

  • Review, draft and implement policies and procedures;

  • Increase awareness of policies and procedures through the distribution of Compliance Bulletins and other communications;

  • Coordinate with Compliance personnel outside the U.S. or the Corporate & Investment Bank on the rollout of policies and procedures and distribution of Compliance Bulletins with cross-border or cross-Line of Business applicability;

  • Assist in responding to regulatory inquiries;

  • Coordinate with Legal and Compliance colleagues and members of other control groups (including Operations, Finance, Risk and Audit) on preventing and detecting violations and promoting a culture of compliance;

  • Manage processes and produce metrics around the firm’s repository of Compliance policies and procedures; and

  • Partner with Global Compliance to provide employees with reliable and user-friendly access to compliance content, and keep online compliance materials up-to-date.



  • 3-5 years professional work experience preferred

  • Excellent writing and presentation skills

  • Strong analytical skills, judgment and energy/enthusiasm

  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Legal or compliance experience preferred
