Position Summary:

Cultivate and solicit gifts to the Annual Fund of $5,000 to $100,000. Manage the volunteer reunion committee for four (4) reunion classes. Oversee the recruitment of reunion class chairs and committee members. Set class fundraising and participation goals, and design and implement strategic plan for achieving goals. Completes 125-150 face to face cultivation, solicitation and stewardship visits each year. Maintain accurate information within fundraising database as well as complete documentation/follow-up for prospect strategies. Collaborate with NYU School of Law research team to identify and evaluate prospects.


Required Education:
Bachelor's degree and

Required Experience:
2-3 years' relevant experience. Should include experience in fundraising, face-to-face solicitation, cultivation and stewardship of donors.

Preferred Experience:
Experience in an academic, non-profit and/or development environment.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent organization and verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively multi-task large scale projects. Ability to interact successfully with a diverse group of individuals. Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
