BAE Systems Systems Administration Tech in New Mexico, United States
USAO Onsite Technical and Operational Support. The ideal candidate will provide information technology support assistance for USAO users located within US Attorney district office. You must be able to handle issues including the unexpected absence of a System Manager, a serious system failures that requires additional expertise, or the need to assist a System Manager with an unmanageable workload or a unique problem. You will provide information technology operational support, systems administration and desk-side user support for USAO personnel.
Required Skills And Education
The Contractor shall provide personnel who have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
Must have a minimum of two years of experience in Network Engineering, System Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Hardware/Software support, Litigation Support, Web Development, Customer Support, and interaction with vendors. You should have a solid background in software and hardware troubleshooting techniques.
You should have experience supporting the hardware and software associated with Intel class of systems. The personnel should also have an understanding of and experience supporting peripherals, such as printers, scanners, and backup devices, along with the drivers associated with this equipment.
The deployed enterprise printers are various HP and Ricoh models. You should have experience with network infrastructure and topologies and the configuration of switches and routers. Contractor personnel shall be fully capable of interconnecting/configuring equipment, verifying connectivity, optimizing network performance, and diagnosing and resolving problems.
You should have demonstrated in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office products (i.e., Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Preferred experience would also include knowledge of litigation support software (i.e., concordance, sanctions) as well as knowledge of various Apple hardware (i.e., iPhone, iPad). The Contractor must to be able to utilize the programs installed as part of the EOUSA built computers and software and will not be able to purchase or install software that is not approved by EOUSA.
