The facility is equipped with 213 beds and offers a full array of acute care services, including cardiology, oncology, orthopedics/spine, rehabilitation and emergency services. There are more than 400 physicians on staff, many of whom have offices located right next door in the TriStar Skyline Medical Plaza.

The Director of Clinical Documentation is responsible for: 1. Performs DRG reconciliation of all facility inpatient charts reviewed by CDI staff 2. Educates Clinical and Medical Staff regarding documentation requirements specific to disease/diagnosis 3. Responsible for oversight of Clinical Documentation Improvement Program 4. Reports progress of DRG reconciliation and pre-bill reviews to CFO through weekly spreadsheets 5. Coordinates and conducts staff meetings, work schedule and vacation approvals 6. Conducts yearly PMP evaluations for supervised CDI specialists 7. Resource for supervised CDI specialists as well as acting liaison between CDI and other hospital departments within the facility

  1. RHIA or RHIT
  2. Experience in both CDI and Coding preferred
  3. Interpersonal Communication skills to motivate and manage an improvement process
