This position has the responsibility and authority to perform set-up and operation of all Neuray ultrasonic welding machine along with any related support equipment and operations.
Properly follows specifications and documentation requirements and interaction with several other department.
Assists with all Floaters, Assistant Group Leaders and Group Leader in the Neuray manufacturing area.
Perform machine change over, set-up and all required testing.
Maintain ultrasonic tooling in good mechanical condition.
Sample new materials and evaluate new processes.
Optimize efficiency for all ultrasonic welding operations.
Troubleshoot any process problems to produce the highest yield and quality for each different product.
Assist all personnel associated with Neuray manufacturing.
All activities must be performed in compliance with the Quality System.
Performs duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies or governmental regulations.
All other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED required.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two years of related experience.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
No specialized knowledge required.
Must be computer literate.
Ability to interface with quality problems and work to resolve issue through operator training, equipment and product modification or other methods.
Must be able and willing to continue training in order to increase work knowledge.
Perform special projects as directed by Production Supervisor or equivalent.
Speak and understand the English language fluently.
The employee must be able lift 15 pounds.
