Describe the broad function and scope ofthe position:

  • Responsible to work with the business functionsand Information Business Analysts to build the requirements for structuredreports and dashboards and manage the needed development with externalpartners. Determine with business partners to use a do-learn-do approach torefine the requirements first via the Reporting Factory or develop acommercialized reporting/ dashboard solution right away or at a later time viathe Global Project Services team.

  • Determines effort required and developsplans for build, test and implement of reporting and dashboard solutions andexecutes those plans together with our external partner.

  • This role requires technical and analyticalskills with strong report writing ( Using tools like BO Suite, Lumira etc..) ,Excellent communication skills and will work with departments/Market CoEsthroughout the company to implement reporting solutions to support processimprovements.

  • The Business Reporting Analyst will workclosely with the Financial or ISC departments to drive the design, development,and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. todrive key business decisions.

  • This role will partner with key stakeholdersacross the organization to identify reporting and data needs, analyzerequirements, and provide reporting and analytical proposals to support theorganizations ongoing needs. Will need to leverage our existing datarepositories as well as have significant input into the structure of newrepositories to ensure that data is ready to be turned into valuableinformation.

Describe the primaryresponsibilities of the position in order of importance and identify % of timespent on that responsibility:

  • Gather business requirements to build new reports and transitionrequirements to the report developer

  • Create functional reporting specifications in a standard templatewhich can be provided to the reporting developers of the Reporting Factory orGlobal Project Services

  • Provide support services on the reporting applications during thetesting and transition to support phase and perform data validation to ensurereports are pulling all correct data accurately and achieving customer needs.

  • Lead functional and UAT testing with the reporting end users

  • Lead the release management of new reports / change requests inconjunction with the reporting developer

  • Create new functional reports and maintain the library of existingreports

  • Work with the capability lead to optimize the reporting and dashboard processesand ensure consistent adoption across the categories

  • Maintain reporting tools and identify industry best practices

  • Plan and communicate status of development process to functionalbusiness contacts

  • Ensure application of standards, methods and approaches for agile anditerative development processes

  • Work collaboratively with external partners for Reporting Factory andGlobal Project Services to ensure cost effective and timely delivery ofrequested developments

  • Participates in teams to define design anddevelopment standards and conduct peer reviews of solution designs.

  • Identify opportunities to drive efficiencies in reporting processes,including the automation of existing manual data sets. This includes everythingfrom developing requirements to testing new reports.

  • Managesand leads development and project activities performed by our external partnersfor Reporting Factory

FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICALEXPERTISE

  • GeneralWork Experience in one or two business area like ICS, Procurement, Sales andMarketing, Finance and HR - 8-10 Yrs

  • Extensivecomputer knowledge and analytical skills with background in collecting businessrequirement and translating them into functional specification - 6-10 Yrs

  • Technicalwork experience with Reporting and Visualization solutions and databasesoftware like SAP BOBJ, SAP BW, Lumira or Tableau - 6-10 Yrs

  • WorkExperience with software development and maintenance processes in a waterfalland agile project methodology - 6-10 Yrs

  • WorkExperience managing teams of internal and external team members 3-5 Yrs
