TITLE: Sr. Product Segment Manager Catheters

COMPANY: Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc.

DUTIES: Develop ultrasound catheter product strategy and business case in alignment with market needs, competitive landscape, system and technologyroadmaps, and overall business objectives. Work with global cross-functional teams to translate business strategy into R&D priorities and execute business case through realization of the ultrasound catheter product roadmap. Develop customer requirements and ultrasound catheter concepts from customer, competitive inputs, and technology inputs. Deliver customer requirements at or below unit cost targets. Review current performance scorecard and measurement system and evaluate its key performance indicators (KPIs); drive a performance based culture. Build leadership capability of product management, project management, and clinical application team for the Catheter Product Segment. Monitor and update ultrasound catheter plans to take advantage of emerging business opportunities and minimize product weaknesses. Define the needs for the development budget and prioritize projects based on market needs. Deliver financial results in line with strategy, financial, and sales plans and projections.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Engineering or closely related field (or foreign equivalent), and three (3) years of progressive experience with a demonstrated hands-on approach to solving complex problems, and ultrasound catheter product development. Alternately, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the above listed fields and five (5) years of progressive experience in the above listed fields, incl. three (3) years of experience in ultrasound catheter product development. Prior experience must include: demonstrated experience in strong process discipline along with strong commercial understanding and aptitude; ultrasound catheter development; product management, project management or marketing; cross-functional team leadership experience in a large multi-national corporation; ultrasound catheter market requirements for Electrophysiology and Structural heart diseases; strategy definition and deployment; and internal and external communication with executive management. Approximately 30% international and domestic travel. Offer of employment with Siemens in conditioned upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screen, subject to applicable laws and regulations.

OTHER: Worksite: Mountain View, CA; 40 hours/week; $155,000/year.
