Google Program Manager, Search, Ads in Mountain View, California

Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus. As a Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.

In role, you will support complex, multi-disciplinary, long term engineering projects, and usher projects through the entire lifecycle. You'll help with processes that require technical insight, for example revising and improving the training of engineers joining Search Ads. But in all cases, you will tackle high impact efforts by bringing data and transparency to your team and leads.

  • Write reports that create transparency.
  • Find creative solutions that are effective and lightweight and adjust processes.
Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Experience working with data analytics.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with Business Intelligence platforms.
  • Ability to write SQL queries and scripts.
  • Excellent organization, presentation, communication and analytical skills.
