We are looking for a senior engineering technician for our Mountain View, CA location.
-Fabricating catheter assemblies /subassemblies
-Perform component level inspection for catheters and associated tooling
-Perform mechanical and functional testing of catheter
Perform root cause and failure analysis/ troubleshooting, and repair of Ultrasound catheter assemblies
Assist team members setting up experiments for Mechanical test equipment/ troubleshooting test setups
Create written instructions for process work instructions including flow charts and templates.
-Train other technician and associates for assembly and test. Participate in developing the training aid.
- Manage / Perform preventive maintenance for some of the lab equipment
-Perform measurements for the environmental monitoring of the lab space as appropriate
-Provide first level data analysis to the development team for his work
-Provide input to development team as it relates to process and tool development for relevant areas of responsibility.
-Support the gauge study, DOE other engineering efforts DFSS as necessary
8+ years’ experience in Device assembly, testing ; experience supporting engineering development of devices
Excellent manual dexterity working under a microscope and fine wire soldering skills
Ability to document, assess, and improve fabrication processes
Ability to perform first level data analysis
