Honeywell Global Product Manager - Aerospace Sensing and Controls in Motherwell, United Kingdom

The Global Product Manager (GPM) is responsible for supporting the product marketing related activities for the Aerospace Sensing and Control product line. The GPM will support the Senior Global Product Manager developing a robust product roadmap and go to market strategy for this category. This is a Global role focused on driving measures that will result in favorable business financial results including market and new product development, cost reductions, operation improvements, revenue enhancing strategies and overall portfolio management. The GPM will frequently lead and interact with cross-functional and regional product management teams to drive results through global strategy deployment. The GPM is held accountable for global financial results and ensuring the regions are supported in meeting their financial results. This role is responsible for clearly communicating product value through effective marketing collateral & pricing strategies.

At Honeywell, the global product management function owns the product line and is accountable for the product line strategy, profitability and growth globally and is closely aligned with the regional product marketing teams.

Position Responsibilities: Strategy & Planning • Linked closely to businesses; good understanding of key issues; reactive and proactive to key issues • Clearly in charge of strategic planning process with strong content coming via businesses • Business strategies clearly linked to financials and functional actions Value Management/Value Pricing • Strong fundamental understanding and ability to apply value toolkit to tough value pricing situations • Strong demonstrated ability to deal with complex value pricing issues in a dynamic competitive environment • Demonstrated ability to implement new value based pricing strategies with positive results in the market • Drives strong financial results from pricing Transactional Pricing • Emerging understanding of transactional pricing toolkit • Conducts waterfall and other analytics to support pricing • Support development and/or implementation of pricing policies Marketing Communications • Is an integral part to development of Brand positioning, market segmentation and value propositions • Clearly leads communications planning and development and ensures linkage to strategic plan and business objectives • Works well with internal leaders to ensure proper data, value propositions and segmentation Customer Relationship Management • Strong voice of customer skill set and ability; meaningful VOC driven to important implications • Strong knowledge of how to drive value propositions into compelling customer pitches that result in customer orders Products and Services Management • Demonstrates understanding of end-to-end role of a product manager in context of dynamic competitive environment • Owns the product profitability and drives positive results • Products added and pruned from the product line; aligned with business strategy and linked to ISC Brand and Channel Management • Demonstrates value created for the brands managed • Provides thought leadership for the brand • Works seamlessly with Marcom to tell the brand story Research & Analysis • Clearly leads market research planning and execution with toolkit in hand • Drives analysis to “so whats” • Clearly communicates the findings and implications • Drives action from analysis

YOU MUST HAVE: • Bachelor’s Degree in an analytical (e.g. economics, math, engineering, etc…) or technical discipline (aviation) is required. • 5 years aviation industry experience leading marketing, strategic planning and product management.
