Configuration Management Associate (17001087)ASRC Federal Mission Solutions Engineering is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems.We are seeking Configuration Management Specialist, Senior to support the continued development and sustainment of the U.S. Navy's Aegis Weapons System in Moorestown, NJ.Responsibilities: Has had direct experience with Configuration Management (Identification, Control, Status Accounting, and Auditing) and of Quality Assurance.Knowledge of Unix/Linux, , and Windows. VAX is highly desiredKnowledge of how source code becomes executable programs, i.e., compiling and linking.Knowledge of auditing large, complex computer programs written in C , Java, Ada, and CMS-2. desiredUnderstands the terms: source file, object file, executable file as it relates to CM.Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Project, and Word.Knowledge of ClearCase/ClearQuest a plus. Requirements:Professional manner, able to perform in demanding situations, to take complex direction and implement recommended process changes.Good organizational skills, able to multi-task, solve problems, work independently and as part of a team.Able to communicate clearly and have good working relationship with peers and Customers of all technical levels.Maintain organized configuration management records for all builds and releases.Specific experience supporting Naval Weapon Systems a plus.Must be able to obtain secret clearance which requires US citizenship.Education/Experience:Bachelor degree (in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field) or equivalent related work experience.2-4 years of experience in software, hardware, or documentation configuration management.ASRC Federal and its Subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employers.
