Assistant QA Manager
TW Metals is seeking an Assistant QA Manager to work in our Monroe Township, NJ location.
Assists and coordinates quality control programs designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Compile and analyze data on vendor on time performance and quality ratings.
Work with vendors on material discrepancies and or rejections
Perform inventory adjustments and issue vendor debits for return material
Provide data and information on customer credits and customer satisfaction
Complete customer surveys and questionnaires
Upkeep of vendor surveys, information, data, and qualifications
Be able to read and interpret Industry Standard specifications, determine compliance with order specifications, and company's quality control system, and any special requirements.
Reviews technical procedures of departments and recommends solutions to
problems and or changes in procedures, in conjunction with the process improvement team.
Work within a team environment to develop solutions to identified issues
May visit and / or confer with material vendors and component vendors to obtain information related to supply quality, capacity of vendor, and vendor quality standards.
Assist in the coordination and scheduling of training modules / webinars
Willingness to travel for work related business and attend classes and seminars related to Quality and Compliance issues.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Undergraduate degree, and/or five years experience. Ability to effectively communicate with employees, management and customers are a must for this position.
Must communicate effectively, have the ability to read, write, and fluently speak the English language. Ability to comprehend concepts of moderate to a high degree of difficulty, and ability to communicate responses and actions related to these concepts.
Ability to work effectively with Microsoft products; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, etc.
Have the ability to learn mainframe program Metalware, and various other software programs.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
