Now, if you were to come on board as aFood Expeditor, we-d ask you to do the following for us:

  • Ensure the efficient flow of orders from the serving staff to the kitchen

  • Ensure orders are being prepared with the correct priority

  • Assist with the final preparation of dishes as well as with delivery of orders to guests

  • Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation and temperature

  • Eliminate obstacles in service, food preparation lines or dishwashing

  • Inspect the premises according to quality and sanitation standards and assist with cleaning

  • Transfer important information between the kitchen and the serving staff

  • Handle, and/or escalate appropriately, complaints from guests

  • Previous work experience in a world-class luxury brand and/or fine dining luxury level service knowledge and training

  • Actively demonstrate teamwork, safe work practices and open communication

  • Ensure quality service to guests with emphasis on cleanliness, efficiency, accuracy, professionalism, courtesy and respect at all times

  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach

  • Outstanding coordination and multi-tasking abilities in a fast paced environment

  • Post-secondary hospitality or related education is an asset

  • Previous food safety training and/or certification is an asset
