Wells Fargo Technology Manager 4 - PMT Production Support Manager in Minneapolis, Minnesota

This position will be accountable for an organization of approximately 30 domestic/offshore Production Support team members, including 2+ managers. The team is responsible for 24x7 Production Support and Quality improvements across the greater Production Management Technology group (PMT). The functional area performs Enterprise Infrastructure, Network and Application Monitoring. Production Support is first contact and level 1 support for all incidents. The leader of this team needs to have constant focus on improving the team’s ability to perform Incident Management and drive Problem Management. The position also requires developing a close partnership with our major customers in this space, the Infrastructure and Application Operations groups.

As part of an ongoing maturity process within the team, the successful candidate will need to be able to lead the team to provide an increasing level of Operational efficiency, Compliance and Governance related activities. The leader will work closely with our internal risk partners, internal audit and contribute to regulatory responses.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of technology experience

  • 3+ years of leadership or management experience, in an IT environment

  • 5 + years of technology management experience

  • 10 + years of experience supporting or designing high priority enterprise technology solutions

  • 3+ years of PAC2000 Problem Management experience

  • 3+ years of relationship management experience with business and technology partners

Desired Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

  • Experience working in a large enterprise environment

  • 5 + years of experience with Enterprise Class Event Management tools and services

  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders

  • Ability to identify key issues, involve affected parties, design solutions, obtain buy-in, and communicate effectively through resolution

  • 2+ years of risk management experience

  • Flexibility to address incidents as needed 24 hours a day

  • Flexibility to frequently be on call beyond normal working hours
