BAE Systems Financial Anst II in Minneapolis, Minnesota

  • Prepare monthly reports for distribution to DCAA & DCMA.

  • Support/facilitate government audits; prepare documentation, research/locate historical supporting data, and maintain interaction log.

  • Develop and review complex financial data for inclusion in on-going operations, rate proposals, forecasts or variance explanations.

  • Participate in the analysis and interpretation of financial data for inclusion in indirectrate packages.

  • Schedule internal and external projects and meetings; communicate with customers.

  • Support negotiations of compliance related issues with internal customers and government customers.

  • May coordinate and resolve financial compliance issues with internal and external auditors.

  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, Disclosure Statement, CAS, and DFAR/FAR regulations and interpret changes to same for impact on programs.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant discipline(s), industry practices, trends, and applications.

  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety objectives and policies.

  • Share responsibility of self-development with immediate supervisor.

Minimum Education And Experience

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills And Education

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of relevant experience.

Basic understanding of Minneapolis CAS segment accounting system

Capability to interact with government auditors

Ability to develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers

Fundamental understanding of overhead rates; development/applications

Willingness to thoroughly document activities / processes

Exercise discretion and independent judgment while complying with policies and regulations

Effective communication, both orally and written

Strong planning, time management and organization skills

Sound interpersonal skills while interfacing, coordinating, and negotiating with internal and external customers

Experience with Microsoft office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint
