The Wholesale Internet Solutions Fraud Prevention team is looking for an energetic and dynamic eBusiness Consultant to drive strategies and extend fraud detection coverage to new channels and payment types.

CEO is the leading commercial and corporate online banking platform in the financial services industry. The fraud landscape is rapidly emerging with fraudsters introducing increasingly complex and sophisticated tactics aimed at stealing online credentials and transferring money undetected. This requires that we maintain best-in-class prevention and detection capabilities that will help to protect the brand and assets of Wells Fargo and its customers.

_ Responsibilities of the Fraud eBusiness Consultant will include but not be limited to_ :

  • Partnering with business and technology leads to develop strategies to extend the fraud detection landscape to Wholesale Common Authentication channel, APIs, and other payment channels within Wholesale banking

  • Communicating and selling strategies to Fraud and Wholesale Internet Solutions leadership

  • Identifying opportunities and contributing to the development of the fraud roadmap

  • Executing superbly on strategic initiatives, providing subject matter expertise, recommending solutions and driving out requirements

  • Ensuring solution integration and configuration supports optimized detection capabilities

  • Developing an in depth knowledge of the fraud solutions and providing consultation and documentation as necessary to the team and partners

  • Conveying fraud needs to partner teams to gain support for delivery

  • Building strong partnerships with channel partners and experts, including but not limited to LOB Product teams, Technology and Risk

  • Partnering with key vendors to devise solutions and escalating where necessary to ensure Wells Fargo is getting premium service

  • Staying abreast of the evolving fraud landscape and the latest fraud management vendors, technologies and trends

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following, and adhering to and if applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements./

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of e-business experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • A BS/BA degree or higher

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
