Purpose

Implement the company’s recruitment strategy. Direct the company’s recruitment activities to ensure the best selection for each role and the recruitment process is conducted efficiently, economically and in accordance with the company’s policies and standards.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

% of Time

  • Develop and implement programs to recruit and select candidates required to meet the organization's business needs.

  • Sources, recruits, interviews and recommends external and/or internal candidates.

  • Evaluates employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, physical and personal qualifications, and other data pertinent to classification, selection, and referral.

  • Prepares rating on applicants, makes recommendations on starting salaries, and provides applicants with information on the company.

  • May administer tests and interpret results, check references, arrange transportation of selected applicants, extend formal job offers, work with outside agencies and vendors, etc.

• Establishes general hiring standards for all classes of employment, including: design of application forms; standardization of screening; interviewing; and monitoring of governmental programs. Ensures staffing processes align with current and future workforce needs.

  • Establishes reporting metrics for monitoring talent acquisition activity and measures for quality of candidates and productivity

  • Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of recruitment professionals

  • Create and execute a global strategy for all talent acquisition to continuously improve our position as an organization to drive business needs and ensure global consistency while modifying for local needs.

  • Lead recruiting efforts on priority roles, IT FTE and Contingent and other areas

  • Manages relationships with agencies and ensures both legal and agreement compliance

Related Experience

  • Managing a corporate recruiting function

  • Experience creating and executing a recruiting strategy

  • Experience managing high volume, hourly, contingent, and exempt level recruiting that includes both sourcing, selection, negotiation and onboarding.

  • Experience following recruiting processes and adhering to local, state and federal guidelines as well as corporate delegation of authority.

  • Demonstrated the ability to effectively work with senior management and global or regionally dispersed teams.

  • Experience in a recruitment, campus, diversity, veteran national recruitment strategies.

  • 1-2 years’ experience in recruiting in countries outside the US

  • Experience with applicant tracking software and background screening software

  • Experience in sourcing passive candidates through multiple methods and pipelining for future needs

  • Experience establishing and reporting on talent acquisition metrics
