Position Summary:

The Account Executive is responsible for the overseeing of VIP Personal Lines accounts working in conjunction with the Producer. The overall goal is to develop sales opportunities with Commercial and Employee Benefits Producers within our organization. This position requires direct interaction with clients, Producer, Processor, Insurance Companies, and various departments within the HUB organization.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

New Business:

  1. Ability to quote in carrier company systems.

  2. Follow up with missing information with producer or obtain the information independently.

  3. Compose spreadsheet or proposal for Producer

  4. Complete bind request form to company and give folder to CSR to put in Epic.

  5. Send all required documents to the company

  6. Update Epic and attach emails from Producer/client/company

  7. After customer binder is mailed to insured, AM will review contents of file and scan any necessary documents to Marketing Folder in Epic. Paper file will be shredded.

  8. Participate in Commercial and Employee Benefits Producer Meetings to build cross sell opportunities.


  1. Agency Bill – Request renewal quotes from carrier, review for changes in coverage or premiums from expiring. Prepare renewal to be sent to client and set up suspense to follow up for receipt of signed forms/ premium. Bind with carrier once received, suspense for bind confirmation, check policies when received and after Producer approval mail to client. Update Epic through the process.

  2. Prepare spreadsheet comparisons for the higher level clients as determined by Producer. Include annual review form. Quote other carriers as instructed by producer if required.

  3. If policy is moved to another carrier follow the same procedures as above on new business.

Policy Changes:

  1. Contact customers /company with any changes as instructed by Producer.

  2. Process changes for High Profile clients and follow up for receipt of changes.

  3. Handle billing issues on High Profile clients.

  4. Attach inspections into Epic and print for Producer to address changes as a result of inspection.
