  • Will operate from offices in the Nashua, NH region, one hour from Boston, MA.Job DutiesThe role is responsible for the effective performance of Business Area quality (product quality, continuous process improvement, and lifecycle management) technology, applications, process, and people resources across the Business Area and within Business Area functional organizations.The business area has approximately $1b revenue from a variety of military and commercial electronics products produced at multiple major locations in the US and UK. This leadership position is based in New Hampshire.In this position you will work closely with customers, senior management, other Business Areas, Sector, and BAE Systems counterparts to provide value-added solutions and support toward achieving near term goals, longer term strategic objectives, and compliance to federal, state and local statutes.Primary duties include:1. Interface with customers on quality requirements and performance.2. Provide direction, supervision, and guidance to ensure alignment with policy, strategic objectives and organizational goals.3. Collaborates with senior management for planning, execution, and management of process improvements, projects of special interest, and Sector and BAE Systems related initiatives.4. Manages compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and minimize risk to employees and liability to the Business Area and Sector.5. Formulates and approves policies and procedures in lifecycle management, customer satisfaction, quality assurance, and process improvement.6. Leads integrated senior management teams to determine strategy and tactical deployment, improve performance, lower costs, and generate innovative solutions within the Business Area and across Business Units. Minimum Education And Experience Bachelor's Degree and 15 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills And Education Qualifications and experienceMinimum:

  • Technical bachelor's degree plus 14 years of project, program, portfolio quality leadership and management in commercial, automotive, or aerospace & defense hardware and software technology

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt experienceRequired Skills
