This position is a Corporate Staff Project Management role for soil and groundwater remediation programs across all business units. This role reports to the Senior Director of Environmental Services. Primarily responsible for investigating and remediating active and legacy contaminated sites to risk based or clean closures. Involved in EHS Due Diligence activities.
Manage the development and standardization of global remediation programs, including procedures, training materials, best practices, standards, tools, templates, etc
Technical leader for all soil and groundwater investigation and remediation projects.
Develop quarterly project financial information for use during reserve committee meetings
Manages Avery Dennison involvement in US Superfund sites, requests, etc
Selects and manages environmental consultants for remediation projects.
Provides technical updates to key stakeholders on a regular basis.
Supports Director- Environmental and VP EHS on acquisitions and divestitures as requested
Oversees Phase I (evaluation) and II (sampling) activities at past/present Avery Dennison locations
Undergraduate degree in chemistry, engineering, or technical discipline, with a minimum of ten (10) years experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in managing multiple projects, consultants in various regions of the world.

Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to effectively present complex topics in a concise manner.
Effective interpersonal skills in dealing with people at various levels and in a variety of functions.
Strong quantitative and analytical capability.

Self-confident, ability to accept and respond to challenges in a positive manner.
International experience and the ability to travel as required.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
