JOB REQUIREMENTS: Manage the coordination of multiple listed and detailed projects. The Coordinator is responsible for drawing submittals; entering orders; producing bar-lists so that material is delivered to the job site in a timely manner; assisting customers in resolving problems; issuing change orders and entering that data in Harris Rebar's business system. BASIC FUNCTIONS Must adhere to Harris Rebar's safety programs and standards. Demonstrate conduct consistent with Harris Rebar's vision and values. Maintain contact with the customer from the start of each project and be proactive throughout the project in coordinating all aspects of the job for which Harris Rebar is responsible. Coordinate the field's requirement with the detailer to ensure submittal of placing drawings and the delivery of all contracted material to meet the customer's schedule. Attend field meetings as required to represent the company and the detailer. Produce bar-lists and import orders into Harris Rebar's business system. Review "listed" (particularly DOT) projects, help resolve discrepancies, enter bar- lists and coordinate the field's requirement for delivery of material. Coordinate project requirements with the contractor and Harris Rebar schedulers. Coordinate the project with the architect, engineer and contractor's representatives, ensuring all products in the contract are delivered in a cost-effective manner. Understand the standard procedures for Harris Rebar's business systems relating to contract management. Maintain contract file, monitor lump sums for over-runs and final invoicing. Place non-rebar product orders. Control the contract with the use of Harris Rebar's business system. Review all changes to the project to determine scope and price of change and enter change-orders into Harris Rebar's business system. Perform other duties required by the supervisor.
