Raytheon Senior Principal Subcontract Specialist in McKinney, Texas

This position requires a U.S. person or the ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons. *Job Description: This position will report directly to the Manager, Subcontracts, and will be expected to display leadership traits and possess the ability to influence team members and management. This individual will be supporting multiple programs within the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Systems business unit. Manages subcontracts and represents Supply Chain organization at various levels on functional and cross-functional teams to drive business success. Negotiates and administers multiple subcontract types, to include but not limited to Firm Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursement, Time and Materials, as well as development/R&D efforts. Evaluates, identifies and selects suppliers and business partners. Generates and negotiates Teaming Agreements and other related agreements. There are several Teaming Agreements and Partnership Agreements associated with this desk which will require an advanced skill set when working with unique supplier relationships. These types of agreements and the way in which they are managed by this individual have a major impact on the successfulness of a program. Works closely with Program Office representatives and Engineering to define and implement procurement strategies and develop subcontract Statements of Work. Solicits proposals from prospective subcontractors and employs value analysis techniques to analyze cost/price, technical capability and financial viability, conducting investigations to ensure ability to perform within cost and schedule. Monitors and reports cost, schedule and status of subcontractors and recommends or implements corrective action as necessary. Prepares subcontract documentation in accordance with established company, customer and government regulations. . *Basic Qualifications: • Minimum 8 years of supply chain, subcontract management or related experience • Must have prior experience with various subcontract types including but not limited to T&M, Labor Hour, FFP and Cost reimbursable. Must have strong communication/ analytical/negotiating skills & organizational capabilities; detail oriented; capable of working in an autonomous environment; ability to grasp/understand technical concepts/ applications. • Ability to obtain and/or maintain a US Government Security Clearance • Must have a thorough working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR and DFAR) • Proficiency in Material Resource Planning tools such as SAP/PRISM • Proficiency in Microsoft EXCEL, WORD, Powerpoint, MS Project • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight *Desired Skills: • Demonstrated experience managing critical strategic suppliers that are competitors and suppliers • Demonstrated experience leading executive and program level supplier reviews *Required Education: • Bachelor’s Degree required (B.S. or B.A.) in business, engineering or related field. Desired Education: • Master’s Degree in Business or related field • Raytheon Subcontracts, MPM, and/or EVM Certifications • NCMA Certification 89838
