Ecumen Business Office Specialist in Maplewood, Minnesota

Lakeview Commons seeks a Business Office Specialist to join its team. Lakeview Commons consists of 16 Memory Care Suites, as well as approximately 85 Assisted Living Residents. The Business Office Specialist is responsible for the on-site accounting functions. Essential job responsibilities include:

  • Prepare accurate and timely resident billing for the community, including:

  • entering new resident information;

  • setting up and updating monthly changes;

  • producing statements at month end;

  • entering payments with accounts receivable processes;

  • completing required insurance paperwork; and,

  • assuring payment for services delivered.

  • Assist in developing services and/or programs to meet the needs of the Resident Community.

  • Ensure an accurate, timely accounts payable process.

  • Provide for and monitors a system of supply and equipment inventory and control.

  • Make timely bank deposits.

  • Assist in preparation of annual budget and capital replacement plan, as well as fiscal management of the project with the manager.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Experience with EW billing preferred.

  • High School Diploma or a GED.

  • Minimum of two years previous experience.
