The Aerospace, Defense & Marine Division of TE Connectivity is currently seeking a highly skilled individual that can set-up and operate Mazak and Doosan lathes within a proprietary process. Due to increased demand, Rapho Park has added additional CNC lathes and anticipate continued growth within the foreseeable future. The qualified individual for this position is detail oriented and excels in troubleshooting, technical support and development. The individual in this role will be expected to take ownership of the process by making improvement suggestions and implementations. It is the expectation that the individual be capable of taking a job from raw material to a finished good within a timely manner. This individual will oversee all workmanship and quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform operator and setup duties within the lathe department

  • Fully understand and troubleshoot setup issues, mitigate downtime and waste

  • Perform manual positioning, axis movements, install collect pads, jaws and tooling, set barloader

  • Understand offsets and cutter compensations, single block function and z transfer

  • Use of inspection tools, independently complete quality inspection documentation (micrometers, gauges, visual inspection processes) and make necessary adjustments, understand gauging and visual inspection tooling, attention to detailed processes

  • Communicate issues to team leaders and/or supervisor


  • Strong understanding of GD&T is a plus

  • Inspection equipment experience, proven record of using inspection data

  • High level mechanical and manufacturing skills

  • Print reading skills

  • Past experience operating CNC machines

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

  • US Citizen or Green Card Holder

  • High School Diploma or GED
