IT Quality Control Analyst-Remote or Mason, OH, Norfolk, VA, Fond du Lac, WI, Houston, TX, or Tampa, FL

Identifies and creates test assets and performs application testing.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Creates and executes the appropriate Test Assets (plans, cases, scripts, metrics) to assure the developed application conforms to requirements and design.

  • Executes testing across multiple testing phases, including UAT and Regression.

  • Participates in Peer Reviews to ensure the completeness of all Test Assets created.

  • Understands and follows all applicable SDLC and testing processes.

  • Identifies, reports, and reviews defects in assessing application quality.

  • May participate in the transition of software and systems into production.

  • Collects Test Data for test execution.

IT Quality Control Analyst Sr:

Identifies and creates test assets and performs application testing.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Leads and coordinates testing for small to medium initiatives.

  • Identifies, creates, and executes the appropriate Test Assets (plans, cases, scripts, metrics) to assure the developed application conforms to requirements and design.

  • Coordinates/executes testing across multiple testing phases, including UAT and Regression.

  • Defines appropriate testing methods to employ to assure developed application conforms to requirements and design.

  • Leads Peer Reviews to ensure the completeness of all Test Assets created.

  • Ensures all applicable SDLC and testing processes are followed.

  • Executes linkage from test plan to test scenarios and test cases.

  • Assists in the creation of or creates and communicates all testing deliverable(s) (MTP, TES, etc.) Identifies when test automation is appropriate.

  • Coordinates, identifies, and executes test cases.

  • Identifies, reports, and reviews defects in assessing application quality.

  • Leads defect triage for smaller or medium initiatives.

  • Collects testing metrics, reports status as defined in test plan with supporting data.

  • Provides consultation/mentoring to staff members and application support groups regarding quality and testing.

  • May participate in the transition of software and systems into production.

  • Identifies and collects Test Data for test execution.

  • Accountable for Test Data Management, collection of requirements, evaluation of available data in repositories, ID gaps, and owns test data provisioning tasks.

  • IT Quality Control Analyst Requires: *

    • Bachelor's degree in related field

    • Minimum one year of testing and application quality experience

    • Medical claims processing experience required

    • Testing experience with FACETS, CS90, or WGS strongly preferred

    • Demonstrated ability to perform test cases

    • Demonstrated ability to understand test cases and find solutions to issues

    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills needed

    • Strict attention to detail is crucial

    • Ability to communicate effectively across the enterprise

    • or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

      • IT Quality Control Analyst Sr Requires: *
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems

    • Minimum 3 years of testing and application quality experience

    • Demonstrated ability to perform and manage test execution activities

    • Quality Certification, such as CSTE, CSQA, CMST, CSQE preferred.

    • Medical claims processing experience required.

    • FACETS, WGS, or CS90 testing experience strongly preferred.

    • Demonstrated ability to understand and perform test cases, and find solutions to issues

    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

    • Ability to communicate effectively across the enterprise

    • Or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.* *
