HCA, Hospital Corporation of America RN Clinical Coordinator Ortho/Spine, Full Time in Macon, Georgia

The clinical coordinator assists Director with projects, committee preparation, and other information management and duties as assigned. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility for maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Identifies opportunities for continuous improvements of processes and services on an ongoing basis.

Supports the mission of the hospital is to provide patients with the highest quality of healthcare in a caring atmosphere. Provision of nursing care to adult and geriatric patients based upon the nursing process and for which educational background has provided nursing skills. May assume responsibilities of charge nurse when the need arises. Directly supervises LPN’s Nursing Assistants, and Unit Secretaries. Promotes teamwork with physicians and other departments. Utilizing the standards set forth for Nursing Practice by the ANA and the RN will organize, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care. It will include individualized, family centered, holistic, supportive, and safe care.

Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing. Current registration with the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Georgia. Previous experience in Medical-Surgical setting.

Current licensure by the State of Georgia. CPR Completion of credentialing requirements for unit specific skills within six months of employment.

Strong communication skills in both oral and written format. Flexibility to intervene on a moment’s notice. Ability to problem-solves, and seeks assistance from team members when necessary. Ability to cope with death and dying. Proficiency in the use of PC, Meditech, Outlook and Excel. Must be flexible and service oriented.
