We have a unique and exciting career opportunity for a Sr Systems Administrator located at our campus in Lynnwood, WA.

Crane Aerospace & Electronics supplies critical systems and components to the aerospace and defense markets. You’ll find Crane Aerospace & Electronics in some of the toughest environments: from engines to landing gear; from satellites to medical implants and from missiles to unmanned aerial systems (UAS).

The Aerospace Group designs, manufactures and supports critical aircraft systems and components, offering innovative solutions for Sensing & Utilities, Landing Systems, Fluid Management, and Cabin. Virtually all commercial and military aircraft fly with products manufactured by the Aerospace Group.

The Senior Security Administrator supports the established Information Security Program set by CRANE Aerospace and Electronics and will provide the highest quality of information assurance to the security solutions within the business. The primary responsibilities for this position will be helping to evaluate, develop and implement security solutions, incident response, and tracking of adherence to required security compliance and guidelines across the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer network and computing devices/systems that enforce security policies and audit controls in mixed Windows and Linux environment

  • Formulate security architecture recommendations and design security services

  • Assist in responses to external audits, penetration tests and vulnerability assessments

  • Research emerging technologies in support of security enhancement and development efforts

  • Conduct risk assessments, penetration tests and diagnose internet/extranet security, intrusion attempts, and cyber-crime response

  • Perform project leadership tasks on select security projects

  • Must be able to perform hands-on support for a wide range of security technologies including, but not limited to: SEIM, IDS/IPS, HIDS, content filtering, logical access controls, IAM, and DLP, WAF, RADIUS, Multi-Factor Authentication, vulnerability scanners, LDAP, forensics software and security incident response

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience

  • Five (5) years in a system administration (e.g., Network, Windows) role

  • Three (3) or more years’ experience working with in IT security tools (e.g. FireEye, Palo Alto, Bit9, Carbon Black, OpenDNS)

  • Experience in working with compliance and regulatory program requirements such as DFARS, SOX, NIST 800-171 and NIST 800-53

  • Experience analyzing network, event and security logs, and/or IDS alert logs.

  • Proven project management and organizational skills, specifically managing multiple concurrent projects.

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills, applied with a solution-focused attitude.

  • Strong self-directed work habits, exhibiting initiative, drive, creativity, maturity, self-assurance and professionalism.

  • Excellent teamwork skills

Eligibility Requirement:

  • Must be a US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible.
